Juliette Chauvet is an opera professional based in Norway, where she is completing professional and academic commitments.Her practice spans performance, teaching, and creative collaboration. As a soprano, she has performed throughout Europe and the United States at institutions including the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía, the Merola Opera Program at the San Francisco Opera Center, the Music Academy of the West, the Festival della Valle d'Itria, and the Gstaad Menuhin Festival. She is a laureate of several international competitions and graduated with highest honours from the Musik und Kunst Universität der Stadt Wien.Alongside her performance career, she has developed a strong interest in the collaborative processes that shape opera production.Since 2024, her work has increasingly focused on the making of opera. Alongside teaching voice, she collaborates on theatre productions as an Intimacy Coordinator, Assistant Dramaturg, and Assistant Stage Director, contributing to the artistic process from the rehearsal room to the stage.Her current interests centre on opera as a collaborative art form, and on how rehearsal processes can shape both artistic creation and the future of the art form.
