Juliette Chauvet is a soprano whose artistry embraces opera, Lied, and the mélodie repertoire.She has performed at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía (Valencia, Spain), Schlossfestspiele Langenlois (Austria), the Merola Opera Program of the San Francisco Opera Center (USA), the Music Academy of the West (Santa Barbara, USA), the Festival della Valle d’Itria (Martina Franca, Italy), the Gstaad Menuhin Festival (Switzerland) and other prestigious venues. On the recital stage, her performances have taken her to CaixaForum Madrid and Barcelona, the Hidalgo Festival in Munich, the Stefaniensaal Graz, Palazzo Pesce di Mola di Bari, the French Embassy in Vienna, the IVAM Institute in Valencia, and the Elma Art Center in Israel. She has also recorded a CD of Italian songs in Naples (Italy) with pianist Angelo Villari.Juliette is a laureate of the Premio Valerio Gentile (Italy), the Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition (Chicago District), the Osaka International Music Competition (Japan), the Anonymous Audition Project (New York), and a finalist of the Lyric Opera of Chicago’s Ryan Opera Center Ensemble. She is an alumna of the Musik und Kunst Privatuniversität der Stadt Wien (Austria), where she graduated with highest honours, and has been an artist-in-residence at the Centre de Perfectionnement Plácido Domingo in Valencia, the Pôle Lyrique d’Excellence in Lyon and the Accademia del Belcanto at the Festival della Valle d’Itria.Born in Avignon in 1996, she is currently on artistic pause while completing professional and academic commitments.
